Obituary: Grant Johnson

Grant Johnson, 78, of Longmont passed away on January 22, 2010 after an extended illness. Grant was born on August 27, 1931 in Divide County, North Dakota.

Grant was preceded in death by his mother, Hilma Johnson and father, Julius Johnson of Helena, Mont.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Johnson of Longmont, son Garrett Johnson of Helena (grandsons Bo and Chance) and daughter Stacy Thennis and son-in-law Sam (granddaughters Tara Jorgensen and husband Christian, Trisha Mazzotta and husband Matthew, Tawnya Thennis and husband Tyler all of Longmont). Grant had numerous great-grandchildren (Makayla, Hailey and Sam Mazzotta, Athena and Jaylene White, and Tanner Johnson).

Cremation was entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. No local services will be held. Private inurnment will be at a later time.
