Linda Sue Jones Denham, 48, of Longmont, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Longmont United Hospital.She was born June 16, 1961 in LaJunta, Colorado to Verna (Greybill) and Scott Jones.
She lived in Colorado until shortly after having her daughter Talhia. In 1984 Linda gave birth to Andrew Scott Denham, who preceded her in death. She had lived in Phoenix and loved the warm summer days. In 1989 Linda was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
In 2002 Linda moved to Longmont where she met her long time significant other and caregiver Mark Lesan. As Linda’s disease progressed rapidly she strived to wake every day with a smile and remain full of compassion.
Linda was a fabulous artist, writer and lived her life with passion and conviction. Linda loved animals and appreciated the simple things in life.
Her significant other Mark Lesan of Longmont, daughter Talhia Lynn Jones of Phoenix, sisters; Celesta Kay Feely of Phoenix, Sherry Irene Harper of Loveland, brothers Thomas Scott Jones of Oklahoma and Robert Kent Jones of Silverthorne survive her.
Memorial services and cremation have been held and were entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Crematory.Memorial contributions are requested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Colorado 900 Broadway, Suite 200, Denver, 80209
