Grant L. Jensen, 81, of Longmont, died January 3, 2010 at Applewood Living Center. He was born August 30, 1928 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to Lauritz C. and Matilda (Paulsen) Jensen.
He married Jean T. Batiste on October 1, 1969. He was a superintendent of building construction sites. Grant moved to Longmont in 1998 from California. He was a family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Grant also enjoyed collecting stamps and coins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean; and four brothers.He is survived by two sons, Jimmy and Loren; five daughters, Ila, Melodye, Donna, Stormy and Ramona; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
