ARVADA — Niwot missed a 3-pointer for the win and then a putback for the tie in the closing seconds of overtime to fall in the first round of the Class 4A state tournament.
Ryan Strufing scored 12 points and Veric Nichols added 10 for the Cougars, who saw their season end with a record of 10-14.
